Safe repair “Quality Control Inspection” labels. Color matching safe colors and plates on safe repairs are now a thing of the past. Most safe opening drill points are concealed under the dial ring, BUT what if you are drilling to "cam punch", or if you're drilling for a fired RLD. How about those times when you either side or top drill to scope the CKH??? Most of the time the actual penetration repair is a piece of cake, but matching the color and finish is the real headache. And repairing a decorative plate is impossible, and to do a quality repair requires replacing the plate. Special ordering or making a safe plate is expensive and time consuming… UNTIL NOW These label are 15/16"x .020 self adhesive aluminum discs, and they are available in a steel or a brass finish.
